Monday 22 January 2018, Wgtn's Waterfront, 11am-5pm
(No Birdman this year, sorry)
Held on Wellington Anniversary Day, from Frank Kitts Park to Odlin's Plaza on Wellington’s outdoor jewel of a waterfront, on sunny days this cannot be beaten for a relaxing, creative, fun family day out.
Try the backyard cricket; blow giant bubbles; eat delicious food; make a cardboard zebra; win the water balloon toss!
The World Food and Music stage and food court will be in Odlin's Plaza, with the Klezmer Rebs from noon and Matiu te Huki from 2pm keeping the groove upbeat.
Craft and market stalls are on the upper level of Frank Kitts Park, along with a quiet music stage, food caravans, and seating.
Lower level Frank Kitts Park hosts the Aro Creative music stage, with sounds to sometimes challenge and mainly cruise the afternoon through, noon-4pm.
Wellington Anniversary Day family activities are open to all on Monday 22 January 2018, 11am-5pm.
The food and market stall application is here.
